On the left is my eggling and on the right is my sister's! Although the packaging looks similar, we have different flowers. I planted daisies and she planted petunias! Of course, we could've just planted these flowers and left them out to grow. However, we decided to add a more personal touch and name our plants!

I named my flower "Danger Daisy" and Christie named her's "Petunia Picklebottom". I know, Danger Daisy kind of sounds like some edgy scene kid's Myspace user name from 2007. I am also aware the Petunia Picklebottom is the name of a brand, but aren't alliterations fun :]?

I really hope we did this right! We followed the instructions carefully, however, I have never been much of a green thumb. None of plants that I've tried to grow in the past have been successful. However, I am still remaining hopeful that at least something will sprout!

At first, I didn't know what kind of face to draw on my egg. I just wanted it to match with the name. So for Danger Daisy, I drew angry eyebrows, cute eyelashes, and vampire fangs. How fitting for danger! Christie drew happy carrot eyes and a bow tie on her egg. I feel like adding faces to the eggs makes them seem more personal? It doesn't feel like we just added trash to our open windowsill.

They now have personality to them!
